Unlike other Asian cities, Bangkok has venues that just cater towards ladyboy shows and with 2 or 3 show’s every night you can decide what time you should go. Afterwards there’s plenty of time for photographs, just tip generously!
Best Ladyboy Show In Bangkok
This is one of the oldest lady boy cabaret shows in Bangkok which lasts 70 minutes across 15 acts, founded in 1988. It’s also definitely the best ladyboy show in Bangkok.
Located near Asiatique, you can combine your shopping and dinner at the most popular tourist spot on the river, with an extravagant Broadway-style show. Featuring acts from lookalikes including Elvis, Beyonce and Marilyn among others.
Aside from the classic dancing they offer Chinese ballads, a comical Geisha repertoire and much more.

Originally made famous by their shows in Phuket and Chiang Mai, Playhouse brought their world famous cabaret to the streets of Bangkok and offer a similar service to Calypso with beautiful dancers, powerful music and special effects to create acts from around the world at the flick of a switch.
The show length is roughly 70-80 minutes and they offer two shows daily at 20.00 and 21.30 with dinner starting 90 minutes before for those who wish to combine the show with dinner. They regularly have promotions such as Valentines day promo’s.

Location: Shanghai Mansion, Take a taxi from Siam or bus 25 or 32 from Siam discovery and get dropped off outside. Recommend to use GPS as most bus conductors speak only a little English.
Another well established cabaret show that started in 1997 from the Mambo theater. Featuring all the glitz and glamour you would expect of a ladyboy cabaret but also combining topless male dancers it’s a well recommended place to go for an evening of entertainment.
Their shows follow the Las Vegas style featuring acts from Chicago and pop stars such as the Spice Girls as well as Asian flare. After the show you can take photographs with the dancers (tip generously expected).
Show times are at at 19:15, 20:30 daily.
Price: Ticket Only (550฿) VIP: (650฿), Show+Dinner (800฿).
Location: Slightly out of Bangkok towards the south you’ll need to book a tour or a rather expensive taxi ride to get to and from the venue.
If you’re a tourist looking to continue exploring the city afterwards we recommend Playhouse or Calypso. The venue organizes round trip transfers for 4 people (1200฿) or 10 (1500฿).
Golden Dome Cabaret
This used to be one of the more affordable cabaret shows with tickets ranging from 260-390฿. It unfortunately appears that foreigners are being subjected to random pricing strategies such as up to 800฿ per ticket making this a very unappealing show.
Offering a spectacular show from talented lady boys, you can sit back and relax to the Broadway inspired show with colorful costumes, lights and special effects. The show lasts 90 minutes, ensuring you get more time to enjoy the show and make sure you get a photo with the actors after the show (just be careful, tips are forced out of you).
Price: Officially (260-390฿) Unofficial: (800฿)
How To Book Ladyboy Cabaret Show?
If you’re just going to the show then booking on the official website is a good idea, this way you’ll get the best promotional price. For example Playhouse offers regular online only discounts such as 300฿ off the official price. You can purchase with Paypal (credit or debit card) and get tickets emailed directly.
The next best option is to simply turn up at the venue and buy your tickets with cash. It’s very rare for a performance to sell out (unless a tour party arrived) so you should have no problems purchasing tickets at the official price.
If you’re staying in a hotel that doesn’t connect with the BTS or MRT then you can take a taxi to the venue. Alternatively you can book a tour (which usually includes dinner) on a booking agent such as Viator. Your hotel will also know local companies that offer a cabaret tour, speak with your travel desk.
